QUESTION: Does my motorcycle or automotive insurance coverage carry over to a motorcycle rental or tour?

ANSWER: Not likely. Most motorcycle and automotive insurance policies do not extend coverage to motorcycle rentals. Check with your insurance agent in advance.

QUESTION: If I ride a rented motorcycle in a state that does not have a helmet law, why must my passenger and I wear one?

ANSWER: Our primary concern is your safety. Protection on the road is a good thing and it is a good idea for motorcyclists to ride responsibly. You and any passengers must sign an agreement that states you will wear a D.O.T. approved helmet at all times while on the bike for the duration of the rental, even if you’re traveling in a state without mandatory helmet laws. If you don’t have your own D.O.T. approved helmet, don’t worry - these can be provided at the time of rental. Be aware that beanie and novelty shells are not approved and do not qualify as proper head protection.

QUESTION: What does a rental include?

ANSWER: The use of a recent-model motorcycle, motorcycle lock, D.O.T. approved helmet, rain suit, and short-term luggage storage.

OPTIONAL INSURANCES

Supplemental Liability Insurance is available for $12.95 per day (Protects you against claims made by a third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while you are operating a rental vehicle).

A Loss Damage Waiver is available for $24.00 per day. Under the protection of this waiver, if the bike is damaged during the rental period, the renter can only be held responsible for $2000.00 of the total damage incurred to the motorcycle.

Minimum Requirements:
Driver/Renter must be 21 years of age or older. Driver must have a motorcycle endorsement on their license for motorcycle rental. Renter must have a major credit card with enough balance to pay for the rental and hold the security deposit of $1,000.00 if all insurances are purchased, or $3,000 if insurances are not purchased on all models. Driver must have a minimum of one year of riding experience and possess the skills, ability and experience on a comparable weight motorcycle. Driver must be able to demonstrate their riding capability when they are requested to do so.

Any/all passengers must be present at the time of rental to sign a waiver agreement. Driver and passenger (if applicable) must wear a helmet at all times.
